Beginning in the 1970s, The Dixie Dregs use rock, classical and metal sounds in their largely instrumental music. After a lot of speculation, the band have reunited with their original lineup of Rod Morgenstein, Andy West, Allen Sloan, Steve Davisowski and Steve Morse who released the band's first album 'Freefall' in 1977.

The Town Hall is a performance venue located in midtown Manhattan, New York City. It was opened at the beginning of 1921, and has a seating capacity of 1,500. The venue was put on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012 by the National Park Service, and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 2013. It has become one of New York City's top locations for music and dance, as well as being a venue that hosts meetings, special events and presentations.
