
Monty Python's Spamalot will welcome Tony nominee Brad Oscar into the role of Sir Bedevere Tuesday, December 18 at the
Shubert Theatre (225 West
44th Street).
Oscar received a 2001 Tony nomination Best Featured Actor in
a Musical for his work as Franz Liebkind in The Producers. Oscar will
join fellow Monty Python's Spamalot
cast members Jonathan Hadary and
Marin Mazzie who play King
Arthur and The Lady of the Lake respectively
as well as Martin Moran, Lewis Cleale, Tom Deckman, Rick Holmes, and David Hibbard.

Nichols, who won his eighth Tony Award for his direction of the musical,
Monty
Python's Spamalot has
a book by Eric Idle,
"lovingly ripped-off" from the screenplay of the Pythons' best- loved
film, Monty Python and the Holy Grail by Graham Chapman, John Cleese,
Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Michael Palin. The music is by Eric Idle and John DuPrez.
Monty Python's Spamalot won the 2005 Tony Award for Best Musical, the 2005
Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Musical, and the 2005 Outer Critics Circle Award for
Outstanding Musical.
Brad Oscar: (Dennis'
Mother, Sir Bedevere, Concorde) originated the role of Franz Liebkind in The
Producers (Tony nomination). He later went on to play the role of Max
Bialystock over 1,200 times on Broadway, on tour, in London,
and Las Vegas. Other stage
work includes the Broadway casts of Aspects of Love and Jekyll
and Hyde. Other: Forbidden Broadway in NY and LA; Damn Yankees
and Cabaret, both at Arena Stage. Graduate of Boston University's College of Fine Arts,
and has taught musical theater technique at Marymount Manhattan
