Cyrano de Bergerac

Closed January 6, 2008

Sometimes a glass of moonshine is just what you need to take the sting out of life. David Leveauxs disarming revival of Cyrano de Bergerac, is a double shot of silvery hokum, sweet but surprisingly potent. And it goes down so easily, youre drunk and misty

Ben Brantley, New York Times

Why See Cyrano de Bergerac?

Cyrano de Bergerac - poet, philosopher, expert swordsman and incredible wit - pines for the beautiful Roxane, but is too shy to pursue her because of his extraordinarily large nose.

Cyrano, believing his unusual looks (a nose that looks like a dwarf pumpkin) doom him to life without love, pours out his feelings (with panache) for the beautiful Roxane - on behalf of another man. Starring Kevin Kline, Jennifer Garner and Daniel Sunjata.
