On Monday August 11th 2008, Jim Caruso's Cast Party presented ExtravaGAINZA:The Songs Of Henry Gainza as part of the long-running, Nightlife Award-winning concert series Broadway at Birdland.
The evening starred singer/songwriter Henry Gainza and his friends, all performing his original songs, which are a musical fusion of Salsa, Pop and influences from the Great White Way. Guest artists included Tituss Burgess (The Little Mermaid), Andy Senor, Jr. (Rent), Krysta Rodriguez (In The Heights), Chris Jackson (In The Heights), Robin DeJesus (In The Heights), Veronica Vazquez-Jackson (Nervous Records), Henry Gainza, Janet Dacal (In The Heights), Joshua Henry, Yuri Rodriguez, Mariand Torres and Darius DeHaas (Songs for a New World).
