Directions to site
Due to construction work, among other things, we would advise you to allow yourself some extra time for getting to and parking on Randalls Island. We recommend using public transit or the boat (NY Waterways).
NY Waterway will provide ferry service from the following departure point: East 34th Street. For the full departure schedule, and to reserve tickets, log on to nywaterway.com and check their "Special Events" page. Oneway fare is $15.00, round-trip fare is $20.00 (adult) and $12.50 (child).
Subway & Bus
Special X80 event buses will leave for Randalls Island from Lexington Avenue and East 125th Street, easily accessible via the Lexington Avenue #4, 5 and 6 Subway and from the Metro North 125th Street Station. Buses will run at least 70 minutes before show time to 30 minutes following the performance, approximately every ten minutes. Round-trip bus fare is $5.00, payable upon boarding using a MetroCard.
Randalls Island Park is located under and accessible via the Triborough Bridge in the East River, between Manhattan, the Bronx and Queens. Bridge toll is $4.50 upon entering; there is no charge to leave the Island. Once you enter the Park, follow event signage for pick-up, drop-off and parking sites.
Get on the Triborough Bridge at East 125th Street. Stay left for the exit to Randalls Island, immediately after the toll plaza.
From the Bronx
Take the Major Deegan or Bruckner Expressway to the Triborough Bridge. Stay right for the exit to Randalls Island, immediately after the toll plaza.
Get on the Triborough Bridge from the Grand Central Parkway. Stay right for the exit to Randalls Island, immediately after the toll plaza.
From New Jersey
From I-80 or the New Jersey Turnpike, get onto the George Washington Bridge. Follow signs for "Through Traffic" (on the upper level, stay to the left; on the lower-level, stay to the right) to get onto the Cross Bronx Expressway, then take the Harlem River Drive/Amsterdam Avenue exit. Keep left onto the Harlem River Drive, then stay straight to take the FDR Drive South to the Triborough Bridge. On the Bridge, stay left for the exit to Randalls Island, immediately after the toll plaza.
Accessible parking will be available on Randalls Island, for a fee.
