Ron Keaton's One Man Tour-de -force
Chicago theater mainstay Ronald Keaton debuted his one man show, Churchill, at the city's Greenhouse Theater Center last year to tremendous acclaim, and now it's coming to New York in an off-Broadway transfer. Telling the incredible life of the wartime leader through flashback and storytelling, it is set on the eve of his 1946 'Iron Curtain' speech, in which he would warn of the Soviet stranglehold which was tightening over much of Eastern Europe.
Directed by Kurt Johns, Churchill is an enthralling one man tour-de-force, that goes beyond the great man's reputation to explore his loves, his victories and his failures. It opens at The New World Stages February 2nd.
