Acclaimed playwright Simon Stephen's new work stars Mary-Louise Parker

Why See Heisenberg?

Another Curious Incident

UK playwright Simon Stephens follows up the phenomenal success of Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time with a brand new work for the Manhattan Theatre Club. Telling the story of an out-of-the-blue act which has momentous consequences, Heisenberg premieres this June at the company's smallest venue, the Studio at Stage II, under the direction of Mark Brokaw.

Starring in the two lead roles are Emmy and Tony winner Mary-Louise Parker (Weeds, RED) and Kenneth Walsh (Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune, Twin Peaks). Parker has a fruitful relationship with MTC, having won her Tony Award in 2001 for the Broadway transfer of their production of Proof.

What is Heisenberg About?

It's just another day on a crowded London train platform but something out of the ordinary is about to happen. A woman named Clare approaches a much older man named Alex, whom she's never met before, and kisses him. This surprising moment sets in motion a series of events which will change both Clare and Alex forever.
