As Of 3/3 Ta'rea Campbell Joins THE LION KING As Nala

TA'REA CAMPBELL, began performances as NALA on Tuesday, March 3 in THE LION KING on Broadway.

TA'REA CAMPBELL (Nala), a native of Philadelphia, joins the Broadway company after touring for three years as Nala in both the Cheetah and Gazelle tours of Lion King. Also on Broadway: Little Shop of Horrors; Standby for the title role in Aida. Regionally: The Radio in Caroline or Change at Baltimore's Center Stage. Ta'Rea is a graduate of Marymount Manhattan College and received the Gold Medal for Excellence in Acting.The rest of the cast consists of Derek Smith, Nathaniel Stampley, Tshidi Manye, Jeff Binder, Tom Alan Robbins, Danny Rutigliano and Dashaun Young.
