Hailed by many critics and media outlets as one of the most influential artists in modern music, Morrissey stands as an outspoken and often controversially blunt voice in not only music, but also in his advocacy of animal rights and vegetarianism. He first rose to prominence pouring his depressed heart out as frontman of Post-Punk Indie rockers The Smiths, thereafter leading a successful solo career with an astounding 11 studio albums to his name.
Now the Mancunian singer is set to play a very special one off show at New York's Madison Square Garden, with support from the inimitable and ethereal Debbie Harry in Blondie, the Punk-Pop phenomenon that found it's feet in the city's Wave Scene in the mid-70's.
