World Premiere
Neil LaBute returns with his 10th work for MCC. All the Ways to Say I Love You is a thoughtful new solo play centered around English teacher Faye Johnson. She's been happily married for years, but as she recounts the story of her life to a past pupil, she uncovers some surprising truths about herself. Taking to the stage as Faye is Judith Light, who picked up two Tonys in 2012 and 2013 for her performances in Other Desert Cities and The Assembled Parties. She's currently winning acclaim left right and center for her turn on Amazon's series Transparent.
LaBute & MCC
Neil LaBute and MCC's fifteen year long collaboration which has yielded some of the playwright's best known work, from reasons to be pretty to Fat Pig. Long considered the enfant terrible of modern American theater (mainly due to his bracing 1992 work In the Company of Men) LaBute delves down in gender relations and taboo subjects like no one else.
