Dancing with the Stars' champion Derek Hough will make his Broadway debut in 'Burn the Floor' for the shows' last performances from January 8-10, at the Longacre Theatre. BURN THE FLOOR was the first Broadway show of the new season and opened August, going on to break box office records at the Longacre Theatre. Initially scheduled for a 12 week run, the show has just announced its third and final extension through February 24 2010 before embarking on Australian, Asian and U.S. tours. The producers of BURN THE FLOOR announced today that Mary Murphy of FOX's "So You Think You Can Dance" will now perform in Broadway's sizzling dance show from December 22nd through January 10th, joining current stars Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Kym Johnson of ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" on stage for the holidays. The producers of Broadway's dance sensation, BURN THE FLOOR, announced today that Dancing with the Stars' pro Kym Johnson will close out her banner Thanksgiving week by making her Broadway debut in BURN THE FLOOR, at The Longacre Theatre. Earlier this week, she took home the mirror ball trophy with Donny Osmond on the hit dance competition series. Her first performance will be Friday November 27 at 2 PM. The producers of Broadway's dance sensation, BURN THE FLOOR, announced today that three new guest stars will join the company for the show's final extension on Broadway prior to an Australian, Asian and U.S. tour. On January 12, Mary Murphy of "So You Think You Can Dance," and Edyta Sliwinska and Alec Mazo of "Dancing with the Stars" will become part of BURN THE FLOOR's electrifying cast.
