New York's Finest

Tony winner and all round Broadway legend Len Cariou brings his love of Shakespeare to the stage in this unique Lion Theatre show. Co-conceived alongside Barry Kleinbort and Mark Janas, Broadway and the Bard marries the work of England's greatest writer with the music of The Great White Way, weaving together sonnets, soliloquies and Sondheim. The show is directed by Barry Kleinbort.

A Life on the Stage

With a Broadway career stretching back nearly 50 years, Len Cariou has too many credits to list. His first big role came starring opposite Lauren Bacall in Applause, before picking up a Tony Award for originating the eponymous anit-hero in Sondheim's Sweeney Todd in 1979. Since then he's appeared in Teddy & Alice, The Speed of Darkness and Proof, while his TV and film credits include Murder, She Wrote, Blue Bloods and About Schmidt.
