Two-time Tony Award® nominee Alfred
Molina stars in the American premiere of
this dark comedy directed by Tony Award®
winner Doug Hughes (Doubt). Once a powerful,
hard-hearted showbiz agent, Howard Katz
has lost everything he ever valued. Olivier
Award winner Patrick Marber (Closer) deftly
traces the story of the mighty Katz through
haunting flashbacks, capturing a man free-falling
yet determinedly clinging to life in a universal
story that will touch even the most cynical
heart.
Alfred Molina made his Roundabout stage
debut in the American Premiere of Brian
Friel's Molly Sweeney during the 1995-1996
Off-Broadway season. Molina was recently
nominated for a Tony® Award for his
performance as "Tevye" in the
2004 Broadway revival of Fiddler on the
Roof.
The cast also features Max Baker (Abigail's
Party) as Bern, Alvin Epstein (Marat/Sade)
as Jo, Elizabeth Franz (Morning's At Seven)
as Ellie, Edward Hajj (East is East) as
Norm, Jessica Hecht (RTC's After the Fall)
as Jess, Patrick Henney (Beauty and the
Beast) as Ollie, Euan Morton (Taboo) as
Robin and Charlotte Parry (The Real Thing
) as Nat.
The Howard Katz design team includes Scott
Pask (sets), Catherine Zuber (costumes),
