Employing state of the art sound technology, one man show The Encounter takes you deep into the Brazilian rainforest, and into the homes of the Mayoruna tribe. Created by and starring Simon McBurney, this startling original work conveys most of its action through special headphones that are given to every audience member. Rapturously received in London and Edinburgh, The Encounter is unlike anything you've experienced before.

A Doll's House, Part 2

Opens April 1, 2017

Years after she walked out on her suffocating marriage, Nora Helmer has returned home. Written by Lucas Hnath, A Doll's House, Part 2 is the wildly ambitious sequel to Ibsen's 1879 masterpiece, which is often cited as one of the greatest plays ever written. Tony nominee Laurie Metcalf (Misery) and Oscar winner Chris Cooper (Adaptation) star, while Tony winner Sam Gold (Fun Home directs).

Originally built as the Theatre Masque in 1927, this venue has also moonlighted as a film set in the films A Chorus Line, as well as providing the backdrop to the shadowy opening scene in the Academy Award-winning All About Eve. One of the smallest of the Broadway theatres, it was acquired from the Chanin brothers in 1937 by theater impresario John Golden who promptly named it after himself. Built in the Moorish style, this theatre is famed for having a good sightline to the stage from all of its 800 seats.
