This Fall Disney brings to live its classic story of The Little Mermaid as a new stage musical. Previews at the Lunt Fontanne Theater November 3rd 2007.

The surprise hit of 2007 is Xanadu which opened at the Helen Hayes Theater on July 10th. Described by the New York Times as "an outlandishly enjoyable stage spoof of the outrageously bad movie" it comes to Broadway with a fresh and exciting production team behind it and the specatularly enjoyable music of Jeff Lynne (Electric Light Orchestra) and John Farrar. For sheer enjoyment this is sure bet!

Mel Brooks is returning to Broadway this Fall with his latest musical venture Young Frankenstein. After the epic success of The Producers this latest venture is creating a lot of excitement as loyal fans of this classic comedy movie are eagerly anticipating some show stopping numbers like 'Putting on the Ritz' and 'The Happiest Town in Town'. Previews start at the Hilton Theater October 11th with opening night November 8th.

Gypsy, starring Patti LuPone and directed by Arthur Laurents, will be the first offering of New York City Center’s new Encores! Summer Stars series. Now showing at the NY City Center through until July 29th.

The runaway successes of the 2007 Tony Awards was the smash hit new musical Spring Awakening at the Eugene O'Neill Theater with a massive 8 awards including Best Musical.

Both Christine Ebersole and Mary Louise Wilson of Grey Gardens received Tony's for their outstanding performances as did Frank Langella for his lead role in the hugely successful Frost/Nixon at the Bernard B Jacobs Theater.
