World renowned mixologist, educator in spirits and author Anthony Caporale returns with a brand new show, created exclusively for the multi-award winning Hornblower Cruise Lines. The Imbible: Rum Shanties and Pirate Drinks delves deep into the history of rum, beginning with the Triangular Trade in Africa, through sugar production on Caribbean plantations, right up to New England's newly discovered role in the drink's turbulent past. Fans of The Imbible will recognise the signature blend of science, history and some New York's tastiest drinks. So practice your best 'Yo Ho Me Hearties' and expect to hear traditional African music, the folk songs of the Caribbean and some authentic sea shanties from centuries of Piracy, in this wonderfully entertaining adventure aboard your Happy Hour cruise.
