If you're tired of the same Christmas tradition year in and year out, then the outrageous modern dance revamp that is Hard Nut is for you! Expect the spectacle of the Nutcracker ballet with a sprinkling of naughtiness and a whole lot of heart.
Combining classic elements of ETA Hoffman's beloved story and Tchaikovsky's quintessential score with Charles Burn's iconic black and white graphic art and Mark Morris kinetic and effervescent choreography, the production is transported to the 70s, where gender is fluid and the parties don't stop at midnight! It's a spirited and colorful love letter to the original that's big on humour yet also retains poignant moments, it's serious subject matter and emotion is handled with a light-hearted touch.
