Photo Flash: First Look at Lindsay Mendez & Derek Klena in WICKED!

Lindsay Mendez and Derek Klena recently joined the cast of Wicked, assuming the roles of Elphaba and Fiyero. They join a cast which includes Katie Rose Clarke as Glinda, Randy Danson as Madame Morrible, Adam Grupper as The Wizard, Catherine Charlebois as Nessarose, F. WICKED Stage Managers Marybeth Abel and Christy Ney to Host One-Day Intensive for High Schoolers, 8/4

Following BroadwayWorld's Student Center Classroom two-part series 'Behind the Scenes at Wicked' with Marybeth Abel, the production stage manager wrote to BWW to tell us that it had drawn 'quite the following of enthusiastic kids'. In response, Abel and her colleague at Wicked Christy Ney will now be offering a Stage Management One Day Intensive on August 4th, 2013.  more »

Lindsay Mendez is WICKED's New Elphaba, Beginning Today

Beginning performances today, May 28, 2013, Lindsay Mendez will assume the role of Elphaba in the Broadway production of WICKED. Ms. Mendez has previously worked with both the composer and director of WICKED, having appeared in the 2011 Broadway revival of Stephen Schwartz's Godspell, and, more recently, giving a breakout performance in the world premiere musical, Dogfight, staged by WICKED director Joe Mantello.  more »
