A fantastic, high budget, all-American rock musical, inspired by the Marvel Comic book character, it loosely follows Peter Parker, and how he gains his powers and predictably clashes with other society threatening wrong doers.
A colossus of effects and lavish use of costumes and sets, make this Broadway show enormously popular and phenomenally engaging, the visual effects are supported by big rock numbers, which were composed with the help of legendary rock lead, Bono and The Edge, are equally impressive, fast and frequent they will not leave the crowd short changed.
The show has taken years to perfect as the stunts were finely tuned , people do not go to Spiderman for the acting but for the amazing effects and general experience of the show. The story can be accused of being obvious, but it does not take anything away from the incredible stunts and showmanship of Spiderman. Go and see this ultra-high budget performance while you are still able!
