Sarajevo's Child, The Last Silver Zephyer The Connelly Theater reopened in February 1997 after 10 years of darkness. The 19th Century theater, featuring a pressed tin ceiling and proscenium arch over the stage, seats up to 200. The space is a venue for non-profit theater companies, providing creative and training opportunities to the community and enabling the Center to make a significant contribution to the arts on the Lower East Side. The theater is also used for HolyChild School students' drama, choral, and poetry presentations. |
