Shining a light on a little known part of history and what we can learn from it
New from playwright Damon Chua, Incident at Hidden Temple delves into the often overlooked role that American pilots had to play in China during WWII and how their mistakes came to impact relations between the two countries for decades to come. In an atmospheric film noir style, the story focuses on three women who find themselves at the center of a dangerous mystery with themes that still resonate in today's unstable climate.
Inspired by the very real events that led to the birth of the communist era in China, Incident at Hidden Temple is at once a murder mystery, an epsionage thriller, an aspiring romance and a testament to the power of friendship in trying times.
A must see for fans of devisive WWII history and powerful storytelling.
