A triumphant transfer from Off-Off-Broadway to Off-Broadway Theatre!
In the tradition of the great Restoration comedies and perhaps one of the finest modern tributes to Comedia Del'Arte, Delirium's Daughters is a splendid blend of tomfoolery and the art of slapstick humour, triumphantly returning to the Theatre Row this Summer. A fast-paced whirlwind of wit and zany antics, Nicholas Korn's play is farcical comedy at its finest!
The story centres on a trio of sisters and their recently widowed father who's had trouble letting his wife go - he still talks to her daily and emphatically believes that she talks back. Unfortunately for his daughters, he believes his wife is against marriage at their young age. Throw in four suitors and a delirious plot to win their father (and mother) over and you have a laugh-out-loud, rollicking romp of an evening!
