The San Francisco cast of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, playing at the Post Street Theatre until Sept. 3, was the final performance at the main stage of San Francisco's 36th Annual LGBT Pride Celebration Saturday evening.

The crowd was treated to the title song as well as "Why We Like Spelling," and an appearance by a special guest speller.

Jared Gertner (William Barfee)

Sara Inbar (Logainne Schwartzandgrubenierre)

Aaron J. Albano (Chip Tolentino)

Betsy Wolfe (Rona Lisa Peretti)

Vice Principal Panch (Jim Cashman) assures the crowd he's in a much better place now after "the incident" five years ago.

"People think we're automatons." Chip Tolentino (Aaron J. Albano), Logainne Schwartzandgrubenierre (Sara Inbar), Leaf Coneybear (Stanley Bahorek)

"We breathe." "We wait!"

"Unlike idiots, we ideate." Marcy Park (Greta Lee), Chip Tolentino (Aaron J. Albano), Olive Ostrovsky (standby Elsa Carmona), Leaf Coneybear (Stanley Bahorek), and Logainne Schwartzandgrubenierre (Sara Inbar).

Guest speller Donna Sachet correctly spelled "Xanadu," but was given the bell on "lysergic acid diethylamide."

"You're the best lookin' babe we've had all day." Comfort Counselor Mitch Mahoney (James Monroe Ingleart) bestows a juice box on Sachet after her mistake.
