World premiere
Israel Horovitz brings his latest work to the Cherry Lane Theatre for this world premiere. Led by Oscar winner and five-time Tony nominee Estelle Parsons (Bonnie and Clyde, Roseanne), Babies follows one man's four former lovers who come together at his funeral. One of theater's most revered names, Horovitz's is best known for his Obie-winning play The Indian Wants the Bronx, which debuted Off-Broadway in 1968 with Al Pacino and John Cazale among the cast.
Joining Parsons in the cast are two-time Tony winner Judith Ivey (Steaming, Hurly Burly), Angelina Fiordellisi (Zorba) and Francesca Choy-Kee (Disgraced). Barnet Kellman directs.
