Casting announced for Hollywood studio comedy
A touching comedy that takes place behind the scenes of a Hollywood studio tv show, Fade follows the story of two employees of Latino descent as they traverse a mainly white-dominated workplace. Created by Tanya Saracho, who wrote the acclaimed series How To Get Away With Murder, this two-hander delves deep into the lives of two lower-level workers, a janitor and a guest writer as they bond over their shared heritage and experiences, leading them to a surprising collaboration that they didn't see coming!
First staged in Denver in spring 2016 to critical acclaim, this New York transfer stars Annie Dow from Song For The Disappeared and returning Eddie Martinez of Sense8 as writer Lucia and janitor Abel respectively, this delightful comedy is again directed by Jerry Ruiz with a diverse creative team that includes set design by Mariana Sanchez and lighting by Amith Chandrashaker. Staged for a limited time only, take a journey behind the scenes at two people trying to make their way through cutthroat Hollywood.
