Known for his cowboy hat and a guitar style that stems from the afro-cuban origins of son, guaracha and bolero music, Ochoa started playing guitar at the age of 6, a decision that saw him feature in the Buena Vista Social Club many decades later. Torres, a world renowned laud player (a traditional instrument related to the lute), is known for his virtuosic solos and is one of the foremost musicians of the guajiro tradition.
