Jude Law became a father for the fourth time this week when Samantha Burke, his former girlfriend whom he met while filming "Sherlock Holmes," gave birth to a daughter on Tuesday night. Mother and daughter and doing very well.
Law is currently starring on Broadway in The Donmar Warehouse production of HAMLET. The actor has said that he will be fully involved in raising and supporting his daughter with Burke. Law has three children with his former wife, actress Sadie Frost.
Law previously appeared on Broadway in INDISCRETIONS. He is a two-time Academy Award nominee; his many film credits include "The Talented Mr. Ripley," "Alfie," and "Cold Mountain" and the upcoming "Sherlock Holmes."
