Roundabout Theatre's Latest Broadway Transfer

A sweet exploration into singledom and its social implications, Joshua Harmon's Significant Others makes the leap to Broadway's Booth Theatre in February 2017, following its well-received run at the Laura Pels Theatre this year. Following the journey of Jordan Berman, a young man constantly on the look out for Mr Right, he discovers that the path to true love is fraught.

Desperate to not be left behind, he joins his trio of raucous (loved-up) female friends on the town night after night in order to stave off the loneliness that threatens to engulf him. However, as each of them start getting engaged, he finds himself having to deal with not only his romantic woes, but those of his supposedly settled friends as well.

Harmon returns after Bad Jews

Significant Other follows on from the success of Harmon's Bad Jews, which premiered with the New York company in 2012, and went onto become one of Off-Broadway's most celebrated productions of the following year, earning a Lucille Lortel Award, as well as transferring to London's West End. Director Trip Cullman previously helmed Punk Rock in 2014, written by Curious Incident's Simon Stephens.
