The world of stamp collecting is more dangerous
than you ever thought. After their mother's
death, two sisters discover a book of rare
stamps. Enter three high-stakes collectors,
who will do just about anything to own it.
A GRIPPING NEW PLAY from the enterprising
author of such acclaimed hits as The Scene,
Bad Dates and Omnium Gatherum (for which
she and her co-author earned a Pulitzer
Prize nomination). Jackie and Mary are half-sisters
whose mothers death leaves them in
possession of a rare stamp collection.
But which sister actually owns the stamps?
Which of three dealers can be trusted with
their sale? And where do we choose to live:
the present or the past? Tightly woven and
ever-surprising, this sinister comedy marks
Theresa Rebecks first collaboration
with MTC, as well as her Broadway debut.
The cast features Alison Pill, recently
seen in MTC's Blackbird, and Bobby Cannavale
(Hurlyburly, "Will and Grace").
A co-production with the Huntington Theatre
Company.
