Known for its productions that explore uncharted territories, spark enquiring minds and bend the conventions of theatre, New York's premiere stop for Off-Broadway gems is hosting Steven Friedman's Phalaris's Bull: Solving the Riddle of the Great Big World. Theatre Row will be set alight with the one-man exploration of the mysteries of life and the mind as it attempts to answer the the universe's big questions.
Friedman, who studied philosophy at Harvard and has delved into the fields of molecular biology and visual art, combines a burning intellect and compelling drama to portray the play's protagonist Leonard as he searches for answers, ultimately finding solutions away from the security of faith and belief, within logic-based reason.
