The second of playwright Christopher B Latro's new works at The Beckett
Christopher B Latro's new play centers on a young man stuck in a loveless, monotonous existence.The appearance of a mysterious child in his life gives him a fresh perspective and leads him to question whether there is some higher power at play. It's a thought-provoking piece which explores the relationship between belief and happiness.
Devoted Dreams is the second in a season of new works at the Beckett from Latro, following on from the multi-layered domestic drama The Happy Family, which closed in May. Frequent collaborator Anna Bamberger, who helmed The Happy Family as well as Latro's breakout piece Absolution, once again directs. The cast includes Barbara Thomas, Brandon Alan Smith and Michelle Girolami.
