Why See 17 Orchard Point?

Lydia returns home after leaving for a night out in Las Vegas - ten years ago. She arrives to find her daughter Vera, whom she left in charge of the family's apartment block, and a decades-worth of baggage to being dealing with. This dark comedy shows the lighter side of a dispute between two generations of women, each struggling to lay claim to their own piece of family history.

17 Orchard Point receives its world premiere at Theatre Row's Beckett Theatre in a production starring Tony-winner Michele Pawk as Lydia. She will perform alongside the play's co-author, Stephanie DiMaggio, who performs the part of the Lydia's daughter, Vera. The production is directed by Stella Powell-Jones.

Michele Pawk won a Tony Award in 2003 for her role in the play Hollywood Arms.
