A celebration of the freshest talent in film
The Tribeca Film Festival has long been a wellspring of independent talent in the film world. Drawing over three million people annually, the 11 day long festival features screenings of documentaries, short and feature-length films as well as talks and panel discussions by leaders not only in the field of motion pictures but art and music as well. Celebrate the closing night with a special 25th anniversary screening of Goodfellas and join its cast and creators in a special discussion afterwards.
Upon its release in 1990, Martin Scorsese's masterpiece received rave reviews from critics worldwide and was nominated for a whopping six Academy Awards, winning one amongst other prestigious awards. With a cast headed by Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci and Ray Liotta, this brilliant crime drama is widely considered the best of its genre. Roger Ebert himself gave it four out of four stars!
