Join NYC's WFUV public radio as they host their 10th annual benefit concert headlined by the prolific indie singer songwriter Conor Oberst, a musical polymath that performs in multiple bands like Bright Eyes and Monsters of Folk and runs record label Team Love. Blending contemporary Americana with a dark, poetic folk confessional style, the warbling troubadour is one of modern indie's greatest frontmen.
A host of musical greats will join Oberst in fundraising for WFUV, including activist singer songwriter Natalie Merchant who established herself as one of the most preeminent women in alternative pop and rock during the mid 90's. Other exciting performers on the bill are Laura Marling, Suzanne Vega, The Felice Brothers, The Lone Bellow and Jonathan Wilson.
