Born in New York in 1951 Bobby Caldwell has been a very successful musician and has found fame not only in his native United States but also in Japan. Though he has had a number of hits throughout his career he is still best known for his hit single 'What you won't do for love'. The single came from his self-entitled double platinum selling album. Throughout his career he has found success and in the late 1990's turned to acting when he played Frank Sintra in a play of his life.
