We are huge fans of Cirque du Soleil and have been following them almost since the beginning. This was the most disappointing show we've seen by them. The lighting was terrible - maybe it's the venue - we saw them at Barclays - but the show itself was grim and moody and the costumes and movements of the ensemble were zombie like and depressing. The best act was the couple who moved slowly into extraordinary positions and seemed to form one figure. Also, the clown bit involving the audience members was hilarious. But we missed trapeze, trampoline and various other upbeat performances that are usually part of CdS shows.
