An annual event celebrating the rich history and education initiatives of this celebrated venue, you're cordially inviated to a special evening night of show-stopping performances by CeeLo Green, Sheila E., Charlie Wilson and We McDonald! This enviable concert will be followed by a celeb-filled party complete with sit-down dinner, music and of course, dancing! All proceeds from the Gala go towards supporting the work of the Apollo in both its productions and off-stage educational initiatives.
Coming to fame as one half of the dance duo Gnarls Barkley, Green's subsequent solo career has gone from strength to strength, he has garnered awards from both sides of the Atlantic including five Grammy Awards and a Brit Award. Green's biggest hit to this date remains the 2006 worldwide smash Crazy, as part of Gnarls Barkley, tearing up dancefloors from city to city.
