Honestly Abe - The Musical tells the true story of Abraham Lincoln's teenage years. Set in the late 1820s in Indiana, the musical brings to life the amazing story of a tall, skinny teenager who enjoyed playing pranks and dreamt of becoming a river pilot - but surely never imagined he would one day become the 16th President of the United States of America.
Though little is known about the younger years of this iconic American president, Honestly Abe scours through what facts do remain to present a fascinating and entertaining look at Abraham Lincoln's youth, from his trials and heartbreak to the start of his journey into politics.
