A very special play for youngsters (and parents that remember the books), four of children author's Eric Carle's celebrated stories are woven together in a stage adaptation that previously won over New York, returns this fall. Watch in awe as four cast members use an astonishing 75 puppets within a one-act play to tell the stories of the infamously peckish Caterpillar as well as The Artist Who Painted a Blue Horse, Mister Seahorse and The Very Lonely Firefly. It'll make you hungry for your childhood again! This year it was nominated at the Drama Desk Awards for Unique Theatrical Experience!
Eric Carle's phenomenally timeless book The Very Hungry Caterpillar was first published in 1969, and has never been out of print since. An educational and interactive ground-breaker, it has won countless awards in both children's literature and graphic design, and has to date sold 30 million copies worldwide.
