The Truth Behind the Champs, Feb 16, 2011
reviewer: Anonymous from Anytown, AT 55555
This play is both serious and comedic and explores American pathologies in a small town atmosphere. "The Champs" are forced to relive their championship season over and over again as they catch glimpses of themselves via their bonding or lack thereof. Liquor loosens their speech as their secrets begin to unravel. The talented cast lives up to the finest of Broadway acting as do the sets and the theater itself.

Five stars for 5 "stars", Feb 15, 2011
reviewer: Barbara from Weymouth MA
I saw "That Championship Season" with my daughter on Sunday and it was amazing. The actors were all great and fed off each other in a way that made the show first rate. From start to finish it was very entertaining. All five of the "stars" focused on their roles and never tried to outdo the other. I highly recommend this play to anyone who likes to laugh and who likes to think. No wonder the author received the Pulitzer Prize for this remarkable story.
