Dont miss this show! Went on 6-12-12, Jun 18, 2012 |
| reviewer: Stephen from Minneapolis |
| Great show! We sat in H2,4,6,8. Thoughts:premium seats are worth the $$$. If u sit on the floor level n row M or higher, you probably wont c the phantom up on the roof. If you have heart issues, dont sit dead center in front of the orchestra, because the chandelier will come close to your head as it crashes to the stage (very cool effect!) If you are on the floor, get seats in the center. Outside seats do have obstructed views. Also the left side of the stage seems to have more "action" then the right side. Get seats in center left. Temperature in theater was great, nice and cool! Having read prior reviews I agree with others: the staff was rude at times. There is outside noise from the street to the east exit doors behind row H. Bathroom lines are long and many people miss the start of the 2nd half (they do let you back in) some noise from candy wrappers but most of the audience was quiet at the important times. I am 6'2 & I am glad I had the aisle seat! Great show! Dont miss it! __________________ |

They serve snacks! Great, right?, Nov 20, 2012 |
| reviewer: Anonymous from New York, New York |
| Needless to say that the musical was incredible, even the second time, but what I really wanted to say is why is it necessary to sell snacks to the audience? And dear Audience, even if you are offered to buy one, doesn't mean you are obligated to do so. It was very said to see something so wonderful turn into a football stadium. Imagine, someone's once in a lifetime experience was accompanied by crackling noises of Twizzlers and M&M's wrappers... During the last part of the show I had tears standing in my eyes, while some gentlemen next to me was munching on chips, slowly reaching into the bag, apparently trying to make less noise but only prolonged it... |

Must See, Jan 06, 2013 |
| reviewer: Anonymous from New York, New York |
| Attended a matinee of the performance to a nearly sold out crowd. It was wonderful. The singing, cast, props, orchestra, and scenery was excellent. There was even a bit of comedy thrown in. The only faults were: I believe one of the cast missed a note and there was a slight prop problem where the mist didn't cover the back of the boat revealing the wheels and woodwork. But everything else was wonderful. Would have bought a ticket to the evening performance if I had the money. If you haven't seen phantom of the opera or are a fan of it and want to see it again, I would highly recommend this production. |

black out, Jan 17, 2013 |
| reviewer: Anonymous from New York, New York |
| Great show last time I saw it but the venue is another story. I got very sick and blacked on my feet as soon as the lights went out, started walking out, apparently was extremely disoriented since I didnt completely pass out and then was treated like a mentally instable person. Its happened before where my tie is a little tight and I get lite headed. I guess I could see how some people might make the mistake but FYI heres some things that they could have done instead. Called the paramedics sooner, loosened my tie, splashed water on my face, got my phone off my hip and called my wife (its labeled wife in case of emergency) who was in her seat. As I came to I could hear them talking about locking me up. As soon as the paramedics got there they knew I was stable and I was on my way. Just very embarassing and traumatic. I was lucky, I could have had a sesure or something. I guess iam writing this in the hopes that I educate someone. |
