A Play for Everyone, Oct 05, 2010
reviewer: Mike A from Central New Jersey
Literally Moving. All 6 cast members were superb. Even my fourteen year old son paid rapt attention for ninety minutes. I highly recommend this play even to non-sport fans.

Lombardi Still A Winner, Oct 27, 2010
reviewer: Tom Matthews from Orlando, Florida
My wife and I planned a New York trip around a visit to the Circle on the Square to see Lombardi.
The legendary, inspirational coach is brought to life through Dan Lauria. Physical resemblances are the starting point, and Lauria has taken the sometimes gruff mannerisms, charisma and sheer aura of Lombardi to the highest level.
Judith Light, as Marie Lombardi, demonstrates the behind-the-scenes strength and support -- and pain -- that often goes with being the woman behind the successful man. Her performance truly is impressive.
The entire cast, in fact, turned in very strong performances. The production is well paced, even including some football footage, but as advertised, the play is more about personal relationships and individual strengths and weaknesses than football.
We can highly recommend this play, and there are no bad seats at this theatre.
Some dialogue and the characters' use of tobacco and alcohol could be considered too strong for children by some parents.

Jackson, Oct 24, 2010
reviewer: Jackson from Orlando, FL
My husband and I went to see Lombardi and loved it.
It's a Broadway show you can take any man.
So ladies any man that sits on his sofa on Sundays
with his remote control, we love Lombardi.
So plan a trip to New York, and enjoy Lombardi, just
like my remote clicker did.

Not just football -- it's about family, Oct 29, 2010
reviewer: Jennifer Donovan from Connecticut
After first catching the Miracle Worker in this theater, I think I'd see anything here, but Lombardi really exceeded every expectation.

Great show, wonderful acting.

A learning experience for my entire family, Dec 29, 2010
reviewer: Scott Lingle from New Jersey
I received tickets for Christmas. To my surprise - my wife purchased tickets for me. my 3 sons ( all teenagers ) and even my wife. Here it is several hours later and my 13 year old is asking all sorts of questions about Lombardi and the players. Even on HBO tonite theres a viewing of Lombardi and he is taping to watch again. The show was funny and extremely entertaining, The stage was right in center and several times during the show I felt as if he was talking directly to me.
I wish the show had an intermission and was a bit longer --- I highly recommend for all...Even my wife liked it very much
Scott Lingle
