go for the music, Apr 01, 2012 |
| reviewer: Joy O. from Media, PA |
| I loved the sweet, simple story and the emotion- packed music. If you're looking for a big production, this is not it. It's much more intimate than a lot of Broadway plays. We were in the top row of the Mezzanine and it was hard for me to hear the dialogue. I am a little hard of hearing anyway and did get the hearing device after the intermission. Much better. The only thing I didn't like was the choreography. I found the arm movements and some of the dances a little strange. But the music alone is worth every penny. __________________ |

not my cup of tea, Jun 10, 2012 |

| I guess I shouldn't rate this show because I missed half the dialog. The accents made it very hard to understand and the lead actress didn't face the audience when speaking. After seeing Phantom and Wicked this was a major disappointment. One set, no costuming. Music was good, but I prefer a razzle dazzle production. |
