The Musical Is Awesome!, Jun 11, 2008

I loved watching it. I was great. I met Howard and we talked. It was just fantastic. I met his dog, Teddy, as well. Great dog. Jennifer Hope Wills was a great Christine. I absolutely love it. This is my 7th time watching this musical in New York. Trust me, if I weren't counting where I am watching this musical. The number would be 20th time. Right now, I am in my hotel room writing this message since I am going to watch it tomorrow! I can't wait.

Horrible seats- A scandal?, Dec 25, 2006
reviewer: Anonymous from Philadelphia, PA - See all reviews by Anonymous
Well, me & my husband are big patrons of broadway shows. We have watched quite a few, and vowed to watch this one in New York in the best seats- no matter what price we have to pay. We have done this for a couple other shows, and have no regrets. However, this time, inspite of paying the highest price, we got put in the last row in the orchestra seats, where the top quarter part of the stage ( therefore the 'oh-so-magnificient' sets) could not be seen. And the sound was horrible. My home theatre system has better sound than what I experienced here. So, I would warn the next viewer to be sure what you are paying for before you blindly just buy tickets online. (F.Y.I., we were in the 'X' row. And anything beyond 'N' deserves to be priced as the cheapest tickets). The sets (of what we could see) were good, but the performances could be better. I would recommend the show, as long as you do not get ripped off for the tickets- which totally killed it for us.

amazing, Apr 11, 2009

The musical was AMAZING. The singing was incredible, and the special effects were outstanding. I will never forget such a memorable experience.

The only concern I have is the AIDS fundraiser campaign that occurs right after the show. While the purpose may be good, the phantom becoming a salesman ruins the atmosphere and mood the musical produced. Put signs in the hallway or something, but don't have the phantom suddenly start talking and selling stuff on the stage

Other than that, the performance was astounding. The theater was superb. Everything turned the experience into one that I will never forget.

Wonderful, splendid musical, Jul 10, 2008
reviewer: Rose Willis from South Carolina - See all reviews by Rose Willis
This musical is a must-see delight. From the shadows of the Dungeons to the bright glares of the stages; this musical has it all. Romance enchants, while darkness blends, and just in the middle of it, sadness flows, making this musical a great treat. It is a phenomenon. I promise you won't regret watching this from any parts of the audience because you can experience it's magic anywhere.
