We couldn't hear or understand most of the show!, May 30, 2008 |
| reviewer: Janet U from NY/NJ area |
| I was very disappointed with our recent visit to POTO at the Majestic. We had pretty good seats (and paid a lot of money for them), Front Mezz Center, Row E, and we could barely make out most of the (singing) dialogue. The only performer who we could hear and understand clearly was the Phantom character, so we know it wasn't the aucoustics. So at least half the scenes had no meaning for us and we had no idea what was going on....I can't believe more people aren't experiencing this. |

The Musical Is Awesome!, Jun 11, 2008 |
| reviewer: Rose Willis from South Carolina |
| I loved watching it. I was great. I met Howard and we talked. It was just fantastic. I met his dog, Teddy, as well. Great dog. Jennifer Hope Wills was a great Christine. I absolutely love it. This is my 7th time watching this musical in New York. Trust me, if I weren't counting where I am watching this musical. The number would be 20th time. Right now, I am in my hotel room writing this message since I am going to watch it tomorrow! I can't wait. |

Phantom was Okay, Feb 09, 2009 |
| reviewer: Zack from Carrollton, GA |
| When my fiancé and I came to New York, we wanted to see a show or two. We saw Wicked first and then saw Phantom the next day. In my opinion, Phantom was not at the level of Wicked. The story line was hard to follow and did not seem very developed. I had a hard time understanding some of the singing from the supporting characters. However, the sining from the main characters was outstanding. I would not see this show again. |

Phantom of the Opera, Aug 17, 2009 |
| reviewer: Samantha from Leesburg, FL USA |
| Having seen Phantom on tour in both Orlando and Ft. Lauderdale I was so excited to finally see it on Broadway..it has been a dream of mine. The performance was good--but upon leaving the theatre I was very disappointed--it literally ruined the show. Rude staff basically kicked us out while the orchestra played at the end...to the tune of staff literally yelling "turn off your cameras" repeatedly (this could have been handled with much more class)--I stayed and listened to both touring orchestras--something that I thoroughly enjoy and looked forward to this time--with the cast out & about speaking to patrons. I expected a more professional and refined experience from New York. It really was a disappointment. The touring group in both cases was so much more professional. I am still amazed...saw it on Friday--8/14/09. I am from a small town in Central FL...I don't have super high expectations, but this was a major let down. __________________ |

| reviewer: Eva from Rosemont, NJ |
| A Birthday and Valentine's Day celebration. The Phantom never fails to amaze! The settings along with the beautiful music and voices create an exceptional experience. Great seats, front row, orchestra center, BB 103 and 104,seen on 2.9.2011. Convenient parking close by and several good restaurants nearby. |
