| The 2 main characters were really great - wonderful acting & voices, but whenever the rest of the cast sang together, you couldn't understand a word of it - just musical noise. Very disappointing. |

| We went to New York in december 2007 and saw the musical in the Majestic. My partner is not really a fan of musicals, but this time we were both very impressed. Especially the theater is the perfect surrounding for this musical. Our compliments to the actors and to the stage management! |

| We went to see the show on mon 24th march & as a serious phantom fan i do have high expectations of the musical, I was not dissapointed, Mc Gillan was everything the phantom should be and more!! he displayed the passion, anguish & vulnerability of the phantom, you have to love him. what a voice he was born for this role! All the cast were terrific & i sobbed my way through the end of the show! wish lord webber would one day give us the ending we so wish... The ages of our party were 12, 36, 57, & 69 and we all loved it as it has variety for everyone: comedy, music, romance, special effects, passion & drama. was amazing for a show which has been running for 20 years on broadway & west end to still have standing ovations every night. bravo. I do have one regret though, I so wish I had seen it a few more times, never mind always an excuse to go back. well worth travelling 3,600 miles for!! enjoy every minute. |

| I saw the March 25, 2008 performance, and went in with high expectations. I had seen Phantom in the Majestic in 1990 and was so enchanted with it that I jumped at the chance to see it when I returned to NYC this spring. However, I feel that the show has become very dated, and the music and performers were not nearly as sharp as they could and NEED to be. No, we didn't have the greatest seats, but for what we paid for our seats, I would have hoped to be able to hear the whole show... this was not the case. I really struggled to hear during most of the performance... and I do NOT have hearing problems! In short, I wish that I had seen another show instead of seeing this flat performance of Phantom. Sadly, with so many other choices in town, this should not be at the top of anyone's list anymore. |

| The show was fantastic! The long run has in no way dulled the intensity of the performance. McGillin is probably the finest voice I have ever heard. The only complaint was that I froze throughout the entire performance. If you are seated in row R of the orchestra section, dress for a winter sleighride and you will thoroughly enjoy the performance. |
