Tony, Emmy and Golden Globe nominee Patrick Stewart joins Emmy Award nominee T.R. Knight in Pulitzer Prize winner David Mamet's loving and laugh-filled look at the state of the arts - A Life in the Theatre. Opens as the Gerald Schoenfeld Theater 21st September.

David Mamet + edgy material + the state of the world = Race. The World premiere of the new Mamet play Race featuring James Spader opens on the 6th of December at the Ethel Barrymore Theater.
2010 TONY AWARD WINNERS
At last the waiting is over, and after all the excitement of the most glamorous night on Broadway, best of the Broadway season were honored at Radio City Music Hall on Sunday, 14 June. A host of A-list actors turned out for the stage equivalent of the Oscars. The 2010 Tony Awards have officially been announced.
Red, John Logan's portrait of abstract-expressionist artist Mark Rothko, and Memphis, the story of showbiz aspirations and forbidden love in the Civil Rights era, were named Best Play and Best Musical, respectively.
The Tony for Best Revival of a Play went to the late August Wilson's drama Fences starring Denzel Washington (Tony for Best Actor Tony) and Viola Davis (Tony for Best Actress in a Play).
Best Revival of a Musical went to La Cage aux Folles starring Douglas Hodge (Tony for Best Actor in a Musical) and Kelsey Grammer.
