WHAT'S HOT ON BROADWAY

The classic musical Godspell based on the Gospel of Matthew is being revived on Broadway for the first time! This new production of the classic musical by John Michael Tebelak and Stephen Schwartz (Wicked) will bring Christ's teachings into the 21st century through stirring new musical arrangements, stage direction and design. Previews at the Ethel Barrymore Theater from September 29th.

Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) makes his Broadway debut this Fall in the intense psychological play Equus co-starring with Richard Griffiths (History Boys). Equus ran in London last year and was the biggest box office hit on record for a play and is likely to be just as popular on Broadway. Previews at the Broadhurst Theater from September 5th.

Billy Elliot, the heart warming tale of triumph over adversity of one young boy's dream to dance. The only problem is he lives in a hard living mining town, and he wants to dance ballet. A smash hit in London and with Elton John's superb score this sparkling new musical arrives at the Imperial Theater on Broadway October 1st.

South Pacific is back on Broadway with a bang winning an amazing 7 Tony Awards! The iconic Rodgers and Hammerstein musical returns to the New York scene in its first-ever Broadway revival. Now showing at the Vivian Beaumont Theater.

Its big, its green and its going to be a ogre of a musical! Shrek, The Musical arrives on Broadway this Fall with a whole new take on the classic movie. Previews at the Broadway Theater from November 11th.

This people's got it, and this people's spreadin' it around! The legendary Patti LuPone is Mama Rose in this sparkling new production of Gypsy at the St James Theater. A big hit off Broadway after a short run in 2007 the show moved to Broadway and picked up 3 Tony Awards - one each for the principal performers.
