Blue Man Group is one of New York's longest-running shows and one of its hardest to describe! In the show, three enigmatic bald and blue characters take the audience through a multi-sensory experience that combines theater, percussive music, art, science and vaudeville into a form of entertainment that is like nothing else either on or off Broadway. Although there is no main plot, the show is split into themes such as innocence and surprise towards technology, information overload, as well as an elegant dinner involving a Twinkie snack. They were African American men brought together under the Army Air Corps program in the build up to WWII, a time when Jim Crow laws were still operating in many states. One of Off-Broadway's longest running shows, Black Angels Over Tuskegee tells their story with wit and heart, painting a realistic portrait of six men from the 99th Pursuit Squadron. More info

British stage and screen star Harriet Walter takes on the lead role of magician Prospero, in this brand-new staging of Shakespeare's island-bound drama, this time set in a women's prison. Following its critically celebrated 2012 performances in London as part of Lloyd's highly anticipated all-female Shakespeare trilogy (in conjunction with the Donmar Warehouse), The Tempest will transfer to New York's St. Ann's Warehouse in January 2017 for a limited run of performances.
