STEVIE WONDER

After playing a sell-out concert in December 2013 of his legendary 1976 album, Stevie Wonder is now taking it on the road as a celebration of this iconic piece of musical history. Songs in the Key of Life is an ambitious and infectious masterpiece, including some of Wonder's most popular hits such as Sir Duke and Isn't she Lovely, it is considered his landmark record and still regularly crops up in best album lists worldwide.

John Mellencamp is embarking on a truly massive tour in 2015, in support of his latest record Plain Spoken. Released on September 23rd, the new record is Mellencamp's first in four years and is set to be yet another impressive entry in the catalogue of the man they call "The Voice of the Heartland".

Your favorite stars from the hit television show Nashville are back and ready to hit the road in the TV show's second US tour! Buoyed by the success of last year's nationwide trek, Charles Esten, Clare Bowen, Jonathan Jackson, Sam Palladio and Chris Carmack will head out this Spring for eight special dates, performing songs from the show on-stage in this exciting from-screen-to-real-life concert series. Beacon Theater : 11th April

After experimenting with electronica, this folk rock troubadour returns to his low-fi folk roots with his new album Carrie & Lowell, named after his mother and stepfather. His accompanying tour will be his first since his The Age of Adz engagements in 2010. In the nearly five years since Sufjan Stevens released that last record, he hasn't been idle. He contributed his 2002 Year of the Rabbit album to the New York City Ballet's 2012 production of the same name, and provided the score for the 2015 rodeo documentary-film Roundup. More info

Irving Plaza : 25th April

This truly international Celtic folk rock band headed by Mike Scott are back with their acclaimed new album Modern Blues, and are taking it Stateside for a 27-date tour in 2015. Despite dissolving in 1993, they reformed in 2000 and have continued to pump out new material, exploring neopaganism, spirituality and poetry from the British Isles. In fact, their biggest success to date was their release in 2010 of 20 poems by William Butler Yeats, set to musical accompaniments. The show played in Dublin for five nights to sold-out crowds and received positive critical acclaim. More info

THE BEACH BOYS & AMERICA

Bands don't come much greater than The Beach Boys. To America what The Beatles were to the UK, they produced some of the finest pop songs of the 1960s, including God Only Knows, Wouldn't It Be Nice and Good Vibrations. For a select series of dates in 2015 the band will be supported by America, pioneers of soft rock folksiness during the 1970s who are best known today for their 1971 single A Horse With No Name.

BEN FOLDS & YMUSIC

King of geek pop Ben Folds has embarked on yet another adventurous collaboration for his new album. He's teamed up with six-piece New York instrumental outfit yMusic and the resulting album, in Folds' own words, is "a record we've never heard before". They're heading out on tour in support of this joint effort, so expect to hear a wealth of new material mixed in with choice picks from Folds' lengthy solo career.

New York Society For Ethical Culture - Concert Hall : 12th April

The legendary Kansas celebrated their 40th Anniversary in 2013, and the celebration is still continuing! They'll be touring their extensive catalogue, which includes AOR radio staples Carry on Wayward Son and Fight Fire with Fire, across North America, though sans band member and lead singer Steve Walsh who retired in 2014. Between them, a staggering 34 Grammy Awards, Chick and Herbie are the undisputed modern kings of jazz, continually pushing boundaries and gaining more fans worldwide. Both started out their careers being part of (at different times) the Miles Davis Quartet. Who could ask for a sweeter jazz education? Now they take their renowned pairing on tour, first heard over 36 years ago, on the classic album, An Evening with Chick Corea and Herbie Hancock. More info

Nightwish are coming to wreak havoc on your souls and play some kick ass tunes in the process. Finland's undisputed masters of symphonic metal are readying the release of their as yet untitled eighth studio album. The band was formed in 1996, and in the years since have produced some of the genre's most celebrated records, including their 2014's Once. More info

STONE TEMPLE PILOTS

Now lead by Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington, San Diego-based STP are back on tour in 2015 following the cancellation of several shows in 2014 due to Bennington's ankle surgery. Currently working in the studio on new material, we're yet to hear when the next album is coming out, but fans are assured that the tour will showcase this new material plus favorites dating back even prior to Scott Wielland's departure.

The best of Sixties Blue-Eyed Soul is back! Bandleader Felix Cavaliere and his band The Rascals epitomized the pop rock movement that spawned peers like The Righteous Brothers and Lonnie Mack. But Cavaliere's soulful, smooth vocals as well as the band's affinity for writing their own hits put them miles ahead of their contemporaries. More info

Two legends of rock 'n' roll come together for one special night at the NYCB Theatre this April. The original bad boy of the burgeoning rock 'n' roll scene of the 1950s, Jerry Lee Lewis' boogie-woogie style of piano would have a profound effect on the genre. Chubby Checker caused a nationwide sensation in 1960 when he appeared on American Bandstand with his rendition of Hank Ballard's The Twist. More info

Hard rockers Zebra rode the early heavy metal wave of the late 70's with soaring, cloud-piercing falsetto vocals from frontman and guitarist Randy Jackson and hook-laden licks and harmonies from bassist Felix Hanemann and drummer Guy Gelso. More info

B.B. King Blues Club : 16th April

A fusion of horn-based soul and funk with the tightest rhythm section ever to grace the stage, Tower of Power have been bringing their unique style to shows since 1968. However the veteran performers are not old news, they imbue their music with an upbeat joy that speaks to multi -generational audiences, from today's young music students to the groovy cats of the Motown era. Cassandra Wilson has been in love with Billie Holiday's voice from the moment she heard it, and now she's paying tribute to her idol in her own unique style. The Grammy Award winning singer has recorded an album called Coming Forth by Day, a collection of tracks associated with the jazz great, which she'll be touring throughout 2015. More info

Beacon Theater : 12th April

One of Israel's most celebrated artists is coming to North America on a short tour. Idan Raichel is renowned in his native land for his intoxicating mixture of African, Israeli and Arabic rhythms, brought to life by his band The Idan Raichel Project. This multi-ethnic, multi-genre group first burst onto the scene in their 2002 eponymous debut, and have since become torchbearers for cultural and ethnic harmony throughout the region. More info

The Space at Westbury : 23rd April

Steve Winwood is probably most famous for his blue-eyed soul phase of the 1980s, which included the No. 1 Billboard charting Higher Love featuring Chaka Khan. Yet this commercial peak is only one side of Winwood, a British music legend whose career has stretched over some 50 years, and included stints in The Spencer David Group, Traffic and Blind Faith. As modern pop-culture purveys the pursuit of hedonism, the mainstream success of a rapper who champions faith, monogamy and spiritual wellbeing seems highly unlikely, yet Christian rapper LeCrae has beat the odds with multiple chart-topping albums and a Grammy award to his name. More info

Bergen Performing Arts Center : 22nd April

Ranked at fifth place in Rolling Stone's list of 100 greatest guitarists, even though Beck was not the first rock guitarist to experiment with electronic distortion, regardless he helped to redefine the sound and role of the electric guitar in rock music. Beck's work with the Yardbirds and the Jeff Beck Group's 1968 album Truth were seminal influences on what would become heavy metal music, which emerged in during the early 1970s. More info
